Pupils took part in a Diwali vocabulary matching activity where they matched pictures and words linked to Diwali, including diya, rangoli, gifts, wealth etc.
They were able to carefully select, match, and stick the correct vocabulary alongside the corresponding images.
This activity supported the development of communication and language skills, vocabulary understanding, visual discrimination, and fine motor skills through handling and sticking the word cards. Pupils showed good engagement and concentration while identifying key Diwali symbols
