We are super proud of this student, who had the incredible opportunity to visit Kingston University to accept her award for her entry in The Leaders Award competition. She was one of two Year 3 winners out of a total of 48,000 entries. She acted as a superb representative of Daubeney on the day and even said her cheeks were hurting from smiling so much. The question she hasn’t to answer for the competitor was, “If you were an engineer what would you do?” Leave a comment in the comments section if you have an interesting answer to that question!

Mr Logan - Wow! To be joint 1st out of 48,000 students is an outstanding achievement of which you, and your family should be very proud.
It’s a privilege to work with such inspiring students, and a truly dedicated staff team.
Teamwork really does make the dream work.
Our top ranking science inventor shall remain nameless for now as rumour has it that the world’s leading engineering and scientific companies want to steal her ideas!!!
What would you invent or do if you were an engineer (to make our world a better place)?
Stay great/become even greater Team Daubeney
