Years 4 - 6 were delighted to be part of a rapturous workshop delivered by Chain Reaction – an orgaisation that specializes in working with children to develop vital tools and techniques to achieve successful conflict resolution - whilst keeping it fun and involved in ‘real life’.
Chain Reaction used drama to engage the emotions of everyone involved (performers and audience) in order to help our children understand issues from other people’s perspectives and to retain information, which will inspire children to behave positively towards each other and society in general.
A very engaging workshop thoroughly enjoyed by all.
“I liked the fact that they taught us how to control our behavior and to keep calm when you are angry. I liked everything. It was fun and interesting.”
- Year 5 pupil
“I liked the way that [Chain Reaction] inspired children not to use anger to hurt other people and they should take five seconds and let the anger fade away from them.”
- Year 6 pupil
“I learnt a lot because it was related to real life and taught me how to cope if I get angry and how to act positively.”
- Year 4 pupil
“It was a highly engaging performance that was interactive and thought-provoking in allowing children to develop their options when it comes to dealing with anger and other related emotions.”
