We would like to make you aware that we are accepting new students for our Woodwind and Violin clubs. We aim to have 16 children in each club. Classes are typically 30 minutes long and there is usually no more than 6 children in a group.
All instruments are provided as a free loan. Woodwind takes place on Thursday from 1:30pm to 3:30pm. Violin takes place on Wednesday from 1pm to 3:30pm. Both clubs are open to all pupils from Year 2 to Year 6. Woodwind entails: flute, saxophone, clarinet and recorder. Please note that Year 2 and Year 3 are only allowed to learn recorder as all our woodwind instruments are adult sized. All children from Year 2 and up can learn violin and recorder.
There are only 10 lessons per term. This means that some weeks there will be no lesson. This is usually at the start or the end of a term. We aim to ensure your child’s time suits your child’s school timetable. Please note that we are billing for three terms altogether; Autumn, Spring and Summer, meaning 30 lessons. The cost for these 30 lessons is £164 per pupil in total. If you have not paid £164 by September 14th 2022, your place will go to someone else.
To join all you have to do is be the first to sign up. If you have been successful in your application you will receive a letter from the school. Acceptance letters will be given out in September when we return to school.
